Hi ,Thank u so much .can u suggest me which mobile is gud for gprs.Reply From PrasanthSince you said that you want to use gprs on your computer.The best option would be to get a usb modem with an unlimited connections which are becoming really cheap now.All the newer models are good with gprs, but check before you buy to see if you can use your particular mobile as a modem. Many of them don't support that.Since i don't know what your budget is and what you are looking for its hard to recommend a particular model.If you have money go for iphone its more than worth the money. Look into htc touch which are now selling for around 13000 Rs or so.Thank you for taking time to comment

Hi Parsanth ,I taking about mobile to pc speed not in mobile.i am using gprs in mobile to pc .Reply From PrasanthOnly thing i can thin of is the dns change which i mentioned in the last reply.Try and get a usb modem they are becoming cheaper, they give you at least dial up connection speeds.Unless you get a broadband connection or a 3G you will be struggling with mobile speeds.Thank you for taking time to comment

Hi Prasanth ,Thanks for immediate reply.i am using w700i last 3months but its internet download speed is 1kbps to 3kbps and i used SE K550i for whole day and i downloaded approx. 60 to 70mb stuffs also.after ur reply today again i used and i erase all setting of both mobile and put new settings and i got same result .my W700i don't have EDGE is there any problem with this.Reply From PrasanthThe best speed you can get with these type of connections is around 10 kbps. That too when its not at the peak time. These connections are good only if you want to use mobile sites. Since you said that you have all the right settings there is not much we can do.Try and use operamini browser which is free and can be downloaded from operamini.com. This will help in improving browsing sites on mobile.Also try change the dns like i wrote here, sometimes this helps.Thank you for taking time to comment

Dear Prashanth,i am from chandigarh and i am using SE W700i with idea gprs i am getting only 1 to 3kbps maximum .yesterday i connect with my friend mobile SE k550i and i got 10 to 15 kbps and i am surprising.plz solveReply From Prasanthi compared both the phones spec herehttp://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=1846&idPhone1=1527they have the same gprs features so i am not sure why you are getting better speed on one mobile and not the other.First of all how did you check the speeds. On mobile you should always check speeds two or more times. Some times it could be just a bad connection or bad timing. Just close the application and test again, do it a few times to get the real speed.Just copy your friends settings over and see if that helps.Because so many variables go into the speeds of mobiles its hard to say.Thank you for taking time to comment

So it will cost you around 250 to get an postpaid connection per month and200 Rs for gprs. Thats 450 Rs for a mobile connection and gprs unlimited for one month.It will be very cheap if you use 30 mb or more every month.
