Vix SaysGPRS can not be used on iphone its an old technology use EDGE enabledSIM.The unlocking part is eazy anybody can do it , the difficult part is toget it.Reply from Prasanth But Edge is not yet available with all the providers and GPRS is also quite fast on iphone.Getting the iphone is hard because of the price point. But they are easily available in places like Burma Bazaar in Bangalore and in the black market areas in other cities.

i have apple iphone and airtel sim card but gprs is not working please tell me how can i use gprs on iphoneReply from Prasanth I have no iphone so i have no idea how to change the settings. You best bet is to take to the place where you bought it and ask him to set it up so that you can useairtel gprs.

are all the features of i phone workin in india????? which 1,s are working and which are,ntReply from Prasanth Other than the voice mail eveything else should work fine. All the others only use internet connections so you should be able to use them fine. Music shopping doesn't work in india any way so wireless music store will not work too. Other than that i think the phone should work fine.I have seen an iphone work on cellone and it works fine

reply to speedbreakerYes next year seem to be the time. Even then they have only mentioned asia. So it would take even longer to come to india. Hopefully by the end of 2008.

Even I wanted to buy iPhone but after seeing your review I will for for it still it lanches in india. How is HTC P 3400 mobile?reply from prasanthI am now using a windows mobile pda with windowsmobile 5 the only thing i miss in the phone is the bluetooth 2.0so that i can use it with wireless headphones.So the HTC p3400 has all the features and the above mentionedones too. For added bonus it even has gps.

Hi, I stay at San Fransisco; as per the press conference, Apple has no plans yet to launch iPhone in India this year. They are targeting for mid of next year as per the press conference.
