Dasavathaaram will be released on June 13th

dasavathaaram

I just got this mail from Sathyam cinema which can be found here saying that Dasavathaaram will be released on June 13th.

It will be an interesting movie with Kamal Hassan playing 10 roles in it. That also makes me nervous, will it be just make up changes or 10 different roles. And also whether if some roles were included just to make those number. I really like Kamal so hope it will be an interesting movie.

Madhavan can’t seem to wait for dasavatharam to release.

M. Night Shyamalan a director who defy’s norm

night First of all how big would he be if he came to India and did a movie with Indian actors.

This article showcases how he is defying the norm by not accepting the rules and restrictions of the movie studios and doing his own thing.

“You’re supposed to be hidden if you’re a director. That’s a rule that who said in the movie business?”

His new movie “The Happening” really looks like an interesting movie can’t wait for its release on June 13th. I am just curious what it will be after watching that wonderful trailer.

He is also in line for directing the movie about that wonderful cartoon

Mr. Shyamalan is also directing “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” a big tent-pole movie based on a Nickelodeon cartoon, scheduled to be released in 2010 for Paramount.

It will be really interesting to see how he will make that movie because he is known for thrillers.

Sweat can seduce and protect who knew

When nature provides you with such a good pheromone infused smell why do you want to cover it with some deodorant.

I just read article which points out that Sweat has a special pheromones in them which seduces women. So stop rubbing those deodorants and wondering why someone special is not caring about you.

Also in another wonderful trick of nature sweat in women discourages people from her own family from getting attracted to them.

So if you can’t bare the sweat smell of your partner isn’t she your true partner.

When a company thinks this much, its good

I read this blog post on the Google office blog about their new favicon. I really like to know how many companies give such thought towards the favicon. Usually its the graphic designer going this looks cool etc.

google favicon

These guys made nearly 300 favicons and are still testing it. I am okay with the new one it looks fine.

From the list I like the magnifying glass one and the capital G also look good too. Will be interesting to see what they will settle for finally.

Mumbai will have statue of Shivaji in Sea

shivaji Just like the statue of liberty in New York. Mumbai will have a statue of Shivaji in Sea. This will much bigger than the liberty statue.

Vishal Dhage, a state government official, said the statue would be about the same height as the Statue of Liberty – which, with plinth included, stands at 305ft (92.69m).

The project will cost more than $4.5m.

The statues will be located on a man made island along with a library, a museum and an amphitheater.

It will be interesting. Just the other day I was thinking about how India doesn’t have monuments that have been built by this generations. All our monuments are from another generation.

In fact we don’t even have art installations like other major countries do once in a while. For example like the waterfall art project that will be coming to New York soon.

All we have is advertisement hoarding’s and party banners.

So something like this is a welcome change. Hope more cities follow this trend.

Its iphone rumors everywhere

All over the web all you can see are iphone 2.0 rumors.

From all the stuff I have read here is what I can tell you.

It will be 3Gb will be cheaper and lighter and will have GPS. Will come in 16 and 32 GB sizes. It will have world wide launch. It will be sold unlocked. It will be similar looking to iphone 1.0 with nip and tucks here are there. the date is June 9th. It will come in three colors.

There are other out of the box suggestion like it will have slide out keyboard and will be available in smaller sizes etc. But these rumors are bogus I think.

Will I buy one? not at least for another six months, I am really happy using my current iphone. Which is working flawlessly, the best experience I ever had with any other mobile. Here is the list of mobiles I used in the last five years.
