Apple testing icar on Indian roads

I saw this car in madras with an apple sticker, I got stickers like this when I bought iphone. All I did with them was put on my windows laptop. But this seems to be a even nicer way to use them. By the way the driver of the car was a lady I guess women get better ideas.

Apple if you ever plan to build a car, testing it on Indian roads wouldn’t be a bad idea. If a car works here it would work anywhere else in the world.

India gets iphone app’s store, iphone 3g is coming

I was really intrigued how apple would launch the iphone in India and how it would be integrated into itunes store because there was no itunes store in India before. I was curious to know if India would also get a itunes music and movie store etc. But they seem to have taken the easy way out and just given only the app’s store to India.

That’s fine because they could always launch music and movie store later. They could have also added podcast’s. Because they didn’t now I have to go to USA store to get the podcast and switch back to Indian store for iphone app’s. The prices are still shown in $ which I think will be changed when they launch iphone 3G official in India.

But I really would like to know how many people will be willing to pay around 400 Rs for a game for iphone, when they could get all the games and app’s for free with iphone 1.1.4 firmware.

Iphone 3G is expected to be released in august in India going by the latest rumor. So let see how much they charge and what they do about movies and music stores.

Iphone 2.0 firmware should you upgrade

Apple has recently released iphone 2.0 firmware. If you have a 3g iphone it will come with iphone 2.0 firmware. But what about the iphone 2g people should we get the new firmware.

There are reports that it has been jail broken already and can be installed on the old iphone’s.

But I am not going to do it at least for the near future. Just because there is not much new in the iphone 2.0 firmware that I can’t already do with my 1.1.4 iphone firmware.

If you want mobile me and other stuff I think iphone 2.0 is a must, but will it work with a unlocked iphone is another question. I don’t think it will at least at the moment.

Not only that, people are already complaining that their iphone have been bricked, so its not recommended at this time.

Stick to iphone firmware 1.1.4 and hope someone finds a hack to install app’s from itunes. Which I bet we will be able to install in a few days time.

Kuselan is a remake of Kadha Parayumbol

The Malayalam movie Kadha Parayumbol was a super hit in Malayalam so its really interesting to see how it will go with the Tamil audience with Rajnikanth in the lead role.

Its about a Hero meeting his old friend after he becomes famous.

Mammootty’s role is done by RajniKanth

Sreenivasan’s role is done by Pasupathy.

It will be interesting to see how this movie will do. And what changes are made to make this movie appeal to Tamil audience and Rajni fans. The original movie is set in a small village.

The poster of Kuselan have started appearing in Chennai already so we don’t have to wait long. Read more about it here.

Kadha Parayumbol is also being made into Hindi and Kanada too with Shah Rukh Khan, Ganesh in Lead roles.
