Diagram of how countries got their nukes

This diagram by nytimes shows how all the countires got their nuclear weapons. How they couuntries that had them helped in poliferating them. Now they want to ban them which seems really ridicules. Hope none will be used in my life time at least.
Why can’t good things spread like this, rather than bad technologies like nuke.

3d interface for mobile device using eye tracking
A nice implementation of 3d interface for a mobile device by tracking you eye. This could be a very good use of the front camera, which you can find on most mobile these days. When you are not using it to video conference it could be doing eye tracking to make the interface look like its 3d.
Something similar is being done on the iphone by a free game called labyrinth. They are using the accelerometer to know when you are tilting the phone and adjust the image in the game to look like its 3d. Looks really good hope many more such implementations are developed.

You have to try the game to really see the 3d table effect. Hope the above pictures give you an idea.

Difference between India and China or Chindia
Shashi Tharoor wrote a wonderful post about the difference between India and China. He talks about the countries sports sucess and syestems. Remeber that China recently hosted a very sucessful olympics for them both medal wise and as hosts. I couldn’t have said it more better and i agree with all the points he makes.

Cool video by microsoft of future computing
Some cool visualiation of the future of computing by microsoft . There is lot of touching, foldable stuff. All the gadgets are aware of their surrounding and work together flawlessly. Can’t wait for that future and use some the features. The surface (microsoft’s table computer) is also featured in the video quite a bit.

Blue Badge tool to unlock hidden features of windows 7
Once you installed windows 7 on your computer you will notice that there is nothing special in it. That’s because all the cool features are hidden. So you will need to download this tool and run it. Then restart and you will see the hidden features like taskbar icons and quick preview etc are revealed.
It really is a cool program that fakes windows 7 to thing that its being run by an authorized Microsoft employee and that is how these features which will be released with windows 7 are revealed.
