How far have we come, an operating that used to run on a computer, now can be run as a app in browser over the web.

Its works really well. Some of UI elements look so out of date now a days.

How will we look back at our current operating systems in future. Will we think Snow Leopard and Windows 7 were at their UI best when we look back.
