Came across your blog and was swept away with such nice explicit answers.
Mailing you with a specific doubt, related to BSNL VDSL modem. Presently my office is using BSNL ADSL broadband (WiFi), with Dlink DWL-3200 AP (access points). Planning to change to BSNL BBG Super Speed Combo 4999 plan which provides option for VDSL WiFi modem. Can I use this new VDSL WiFi modem with my existing setup of access points (as far as compatibility is concerned)?

You can use access points connection on vdsl too but compatibility is thing that worries me to.
There is no way to test it other than get vdsl modem from bsnl. They are no other options for vdsl out there.
If not you can get another router or the one you are using and connect it via lan to the vdsl modem. That should stop
compatibility problems.
