I have bought a Micromaxx 3G dongle (7.2 Mbps).Some of my friends use bsnl 3g sim but wiht a 2g plan and they gey downloas rate of around 150kbps but mine doesnt go above 20 help me out

I didn’t even know you could root photon to work with ethernet port.

It has a usb port to connect, how does it work with ethernet.

First connect the ethernet to a computer to check if the rooting is working.

The easier way is to get a 3G router that supports tata photon.

You could also connect to a computer and share the wifi on the computer to give wifi access to other devices. You will have to keep the computer on when you need wifi.

hi,

I would like to connect my tata photon + with Lan port of my wifi router so i can share the internet to my other devices with wifi.

I have already routed the photon to Ethernet with Connectify software , but Wi-fi router (beetel 450tc1) not sharing the internet connection.

Do i need to change some settings in router too so that it can share the Lan connections with wifi?

Get a 3G router and it should work with your photon +.

router gives you wifi and you can be online.

When buying router make sure it works with your photon, 3G routers cost anywhere between 3000-5000 Rs. Mostly chinese companies, if you can’t find any in shops look at ebay.in

When i was getting the high speed bsnl connection, i too searched in vain.

VDSL modems are not available in the market to buy.

I did quite a bit of search outside, but no luck bsnl office got one finally.

Talk to the bsnl office and talk to the in charge ask if they are available at other branches.

You can offer to pick it up yourself, which will help you get it faster.

Where can I buy VDSL modem?

Bsnl office in my native say they can provide the service but do’t have the modem and not sure when they’ll get it.

I tried bsnl office near my house in bangalore, they do’t have it and were’t much help either.

Any one know where I can get VDSL modem in bangalore or any bsnl office from where I can get it?
